Design Notes

Our Delft floor tiles are handcrafted porcelain tiles, made in the EU with a matte finish and delicately decorated in the UK. Each tile is made to order, so slight variations in design and colour are to be expected — adding to their unique, artisanal quality.

Crafted from porcelain, these tiles are not only durable but also environmentally conscious, using significantly less energy to produce than metal or plastic alternatives.

Please note: The lead time for tile orders can be up to 4 to 6 weeks.

RECOMMENDED USE

We recommend Delft tiles for light domestic areas, including:
Bathrooms
Bars
Pantries
Laundry rooms
Spare bedrooms
Low-traffic hallways / corridors
Alcoves
Formal living rooms

These areas are ideal for showcasing the delicate beauty of Delft tiles without subjecting them to excessive wear.

Not recommended for:
Kitchens
Main hallways
Staircases
Family rooms

These high-traffic zones may lead to premature wear or damage.
Delft tiles are also not suitable for external use.

INSTALLATION

For best results, we strongly advise professional installation.
Correct laying and preparation are essential to ensure the tiles’ longevity and performance.
Ensure substrates are properly prepared.
Use adhesives suitable for porcelain tiles.
Avoid DIY installation without professional guidance, as this may result in cracking, shifting, or damage.

Size & Care

20cm x 20cm x 0.9cm / 7.8in x 7/8in x 0.35in

CARE:
Use a mild, non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaner to clean your tile surfaces.
Choose a cleaner that is free from harsh chemicals or abrasives that can harm your tiles.
Steer clear of abrasive pads, steel wool, metal brushes, or scouring pads, as they can scratch the glaze.
